Law Professor Confirms That Law School Scam Extends to the First Tier

A new blog has appeared on my blog roll. It's called "Inside the Law School Scam," and its author claims to be a tenured law professor from a first tier toilet (though one that has a lower rank than my T14 alma mater). This blog has already earned itself an article on Inside Higher Ed. (That was awfully quick.)

There have already been attempts to "out" the anonymous writer of the blog. Why? Whether we're talking about a first tier toilet or a third tier toilet, the stench is the same when both schools in both tiers are publishing lies about their graduates' employment outcomes and routinely ripping off their students. Yes, my T14 charged over $40,000 a year so that deans and tenured professors can glad-hand us and live carefree lives at our expense. And what about the speeches they give about "justice" and "the law?" Laughable.

It's time for the overpaid, thieving high priests of tertiary education to tell the truth. I welcome this new blog as an attempt to blow the lid off the can of bullshit that is legal education. I just hope it's authentic and that the good work lasts.

  1. The ABA is in charge of overseeing legal education in the US; therefore, the blame should go to them. They and their do-nothing policies have created this huge mess, and nothing will change until they are fired.

  2. Law professors can eat shit. Those overpaid, pompous assholes wouldn't last 5 minutes in the private sector. They are a complete fucking waste of (taxpayer) money.

  4. Great Post! I think having an actual law professor write about the law school scam makes the law schools lose even more credibility. It doesn't make law students, lawyers, and paralegals look like a bunch of whiners..but address the fact that something is seriously wrong with the law school system.
